Dear Neighbor,

Throughout my years of professional service in both the business and nonprofit communities, I have found that when caring about others, it is not enough to think or feel, you have to actually do something to help improve lives.  Now, as a Realtor, along with my Blessings of Home Team, we work hard each day to do just that - improve the lives of everyone we meet.

I am committed to helping, which prompted me to attend UCF and obtain an undergraduate degree in elementary education, and a graduate degree in counseling.  I have lived in Orlando my entire life, and have worked for many years in the public school system, as well as in the nonprofit sector at the director level. This wide range of experience, and the drive to improve the lives of others, inspires me daily to be the best real estate agent I can be. I know that having a place to call home, and food on the table within, is indeed a blessing.

If you are thinking about purchasing a home, or selling your current home, I will work diligently to ensure that you receive the top level of service.   If I have the honor of serving you with the sale or purchase of your home, you can expect to pay a commission rate comparable to that which you would pay to another agent.   However, if you give me the honor of serving you, you’ll know that an impactful percentage of that commission is benefiting those in need, through the Christian ministry provided by Compassion Corner, Conway Cares, and the Down Syndrome Foundation of Florida. You can rest in your new home knowing that you received excellent service, and that you have had a hand in blessing others.

It is always my intention to operate with integrity and professionalism, and this correspondence is not intended to solicit business from other brokers and agents, who have valid, active listings.

If you are not thinking about buying or selling a home right now, but feel inspired to donate time, money, or supplies to help, please contact me.  All donations provided go directly to Compassion Corner, Conway Cares, and the Down Syndrome Foundation of Florida, and 100% of those donations are used to provide Christian ministry, food, and supplies to individuals in need.  For additional information on these nonprofit organizations, please see below.

Please find below additional information regarding the causes that the Blessings of Home Team supports. Remember, a significant percentage of each commission earned will be donated directly to those in need supported by these three organizations. “The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.’” Mathew 25:40

Compassion Corner is a place where everyone is welcome.  This ministry is located on the property of Trinity Lutheran Church at 425 N. Magnolia Avenue, and is a respite “home” for those in Orlando who have no home. Through the leadership of First Presbyterian Church of Orlando, many downtown churches collaborate to provide volunteers and supplies daily to support Compassion Corner’s outreach. A unique gathering place for the homeless community of downtown Orlando, Compassion Corner is open throughout the week, providing Bible study, counseling, limited financial assistance and social service referrals. Trained volunteers listen to stories over coffee, share prayer requests, and help provide a place of stability and safety to members of our community who are experiencing desperate need.  Compassion Corner also offers the Good News Breakfast every Sunday morning in partnership with the Central Care Mission. Would you like to volunteer your time or donate supplies? Volunteer opportunities are available.  Contact: spencer.pfleiderer@fpco.org

Conway Cares, a Servant’s Heart Center hunger solution, is dedicated to filling the weekend meal gap by providing the neediest children in the Conway Area of Orlando with a bag of food. Food insecure students are given a bag of food every Friday to help them get through the weekend. For many, their next meals will be the free school breakfast and lunch that they receive the following week. The food bags are packed and delivered to the schools by volunteers. Teachers discreetly distribute them in backpacks of those children in the greatest need. Currently, 120 food bags are distributed per week! Students being assisted are at Shenandoah Elementary, Conway Elementary, Lake George Elementary, and Conway Middle Schools. Your help is needed! Contact: ConwayCares@servantsheartcenter.org or follow Conway Cares on Facebook.

Down Syndrome Foundation of Florida is a grassroots organization made up of volunteers who believe that through creative programs and partnerships, we can facilitate opportunities and experiences so that there is no mystery or myth about people with Down syndrome.  Our goal is to promote inclusion, understanding and acceptance by expanding opportunities for individuals, families and communities touched by Down syndrome. At the Down Syndrome Foundation of Florida, we believe when POTENTIAL is given OPPORTUNITY the outcome is SUCCESS.   We envision a day when people with Down syndrome are fully included in their communities:  working, playing, studying and living together with their peers. It is our hope that individuals with Down syndrome will be seen as ''More alike than different,” and strive to instill this belief in our local communities through our outreach and programs.  This goal is to benefit the community as a whole, not just the individual.  Would you like to help fund or volunteer your time at fun and rewarding events, such as iCan Bike, Bowlathon, or the Camping Jamboree? Contact: info@dsfflorida.org

Please consider supporting these organizations. May God bless you, and I look forward to serving you.

Please contact me today at catherinesimmons@blessingsofhomerealty.com or (407)421-4330, so that we may schedule a consultation. If you are currently under contract with another broker, please disregard this notice. May God bless you, and I look forward to serving you.

Blessings,
